HURRICANE AID AND RELIEF
OPAW HURRICANE HELENE SUPPORT AND OUTREACH //
OPAW HURRICANE HELENE SUPPORT AND OUTREACH //
OPERATION ANGEL WING IS PROVIDING DIRECT ASSISTANCE TO THE AFFECTED REGIONS OF NORTH CAROLINA AND TENNESSEE FOLLOWING THE DEVESTATING EFFECTS OF HURRICANE HELENE:
IT IS TIME FOR ACTION: THE NEED IS REAL
The OPAW network is an active disaster response organization. This means that we are one of the few entities that can access and provide help to areas that have been restricted to the public—these are the areas that now desperately need help.
People and communities are without power and supplies for basic subsistence in several of the hardest hit areas. OPAW is able to provide assistance while our Public Safety Services and residents are waiting for a more permanent resolution.
As for now, in THIS MOMENT, the focus needs to be on SOLUTIONS. Here is how, with the help of funding, OPAW can truly help fill this gap:
Critical Incident Stress Management for Public Safety Services and communities
Suicide Prevention Training and support
Chaplaincy Services; we offer a full behavioral emergency readiness program
Communications Support: Direct resources to establish Starlink capabilities in remote locations where people are currently experiencing limited communications
Mental Health support, to include trauma coaching and resilience training for youth and adults
We have had people on the ground since the rivers first overflowed, connecting with victims and bringing supplies to first responders and citizens. We appreciate our partners and remain deeply committed to our continued effort. If you would like to support this effort, please donate!
Donate here, and help us continue to fight for the victims of Helene:
“One Victory at A Time”
The Operation Angel Wing Network provides both clinical and non-clinical services.
In the wake of the war in Afghanistan, our Nation loses 22 to 45 Veterans per day due to suicide and drug overdose. More Public Safety Service Personnel die by suicide than in the line of duty.
OPAW has created programming to place integrated and innovative evidence-based, proprietary, and safe training, tools and strategies into the hands of our Nation’s defenders, arming them to make a stand in defense of this Nation’s humanitarian crisis.
If you are interested in one of our trainings, email us at operationangelwing@gmail.com to inquire about our opportunities.
Proprietary Programming and therapies:
Therapeutic Narrative-safe use of personal narrative
Six-Week Trauma-Informed Protocol—current studies show a 96% success rate for overcoming suicidal ideation and reduction of traumatic stress and anxiety
“Deciphering the Defender’s Moral Code”
If you are suffering from the effects of Post Traumatic Stress or know someone who is, we are standing by to assist.
